Dimarakis Olive Plantation

If you've ever wondered where your Authentikon or Kalliston olive oil and olives come from, you'll find this video of great interest.

Shot in the Peloponnese, a large peninsula in the south of Greece, the video takes us on a journey which starts in Ermioni, a beautiful coastal town centered around a picturesque harbor. From there we travel to the nearby olive groves of the Dimarakis plantation, source of the olives used in the Kalliston and Authentikon range of products imported by Elaioladon Contis Imports. There, you'll see how olives intended for olive oil production are harvested by hand before they are sent to the Dimarakis processing plant. In the final part of the video, you'll see how the olives are processed at the plant, how the oil is extracted and tested before it is finally bottled and packaged.
